Question 1

Do you really come to me?

Accepted Answer

Yes – that is what "mobile" means. Our auto electrician comes to your home, office, complex or the parking lot where the car stopped, anywhere in our service area around Sandton and greater Johannesburg. Most electrical faults are diagnosed and fixed on the spot.

Question 2

Which areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We are based at 134 Grayston Drive in Sandown, Sandton and cover Sandton, Rosebank, Randburg, Bryanston, Fourways, Midrand, Alexandra and the surrounding suburbs. Further out? WhatsApp us your location and we will confirm.

Question 3

How much is a call-out?

Accepted Answer

The call-out fee depends on distance and the time of day. We confirm the call-out fee and our estimated arrival time on the phone or WhatsApp before we leave, and nothing else is charged without your approval.

Question 4

Which vehicles do you work on?

Accepted Answer

All makes and models – Toyota, VW, Ford, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Suzuki and the Chinese brands, through to Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Land Rover and Volvo – plus bakkies and light commercial vehicles.

Question 5

My car won't start – is it the battery?

Accepted Answer

Often, but not always. A clicking sound can be a flat battery or a starter fault; a battery that keeps going flat usually points to the alternator or a drain. We test the battery, charging and starting systems together so you only replace what has failed.

Question 6

Do you do mechanical work too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Besides auto electrical work we do servicing, brakes, suspension, cooling, clutch and general mechanical repairs for all brands. Bigger jobs that need a hoist are done in a workshop – we arrange that for you.

Question 7

How do your quotes work?

Accepted Answer

After diagnosing the fault we send an itemised quote on WhatsApp or email as a PDF, with parts and labour shown separately. We only start once you approve it, and if we find anything else, we contact you first.

Question 8

How can I pay?

Accepted Answer

You can pay by EFT, card or cash. You receive a detailed PDF invoice on WhatsApp or email for your records.

Question 9

Do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed, and parts carry the supplier's warranty. Your invoice shows the warranty that applies to your job.
